Provide four workshops for participating teams, hosted by CSIS, renowned designers, eco-friendly material manufacturers, and executives of the catering industry. Covering the following categories:
The impact and importance of environmental plastic reduction on societal development
The design trends of eco-friendly packaging, understanding the innovative design thinking in different regions for plastic reduction
Techniques for more effective communication with merchants and users
Understanding the catering industry's requirements for eco-friendly packaging
Considerations for actual production, such as materials, structure, and costs
* After each workshop, CSIS will prepare questionnaires for participants to fill out in order to assess the effectiveness of the training and areas for improvement.
* A professional photographer will record the aforementioned workshops for participants to review the information conveniently.
Provide an opportunity for participating teams to observe and interview in front of a restaurant, interviewing frontline restaurant staff and consumers to obtain preliminary data for design.
June-July
CSIS will select some participating teams for interviews and video recordings (about training,field investigations, and the emotional journey of design).
August 16
Design proposals are due by 16th August.

Shortlisting by the judging panel
August 23 - 29
Sponsorship provided to shortlisted teams for model preparation
Sept 21 - 24
Submission showcasing at New Town Plaza I L1 Entrance Arena
Sept 22
Public voting and final judges' scoring on 21st & morning of 22nd Sep
Result announcement in the afternoon of 22nd Sep, followed by media interviews.
Team Eligibility
Teams must be made up of 2, and a maximum of 6, full time undergraduate or master-degree students. Participants may come from different institutions. At least one team member must be major in design or related disciplines.
